published his research paper in the
Journal of Arthroplasty which demonstrated
that his patented technique in restoring leg
length and offset after a hip replacement is
more accurate than other current techniques. Dr.
Kurtz
presented his research validating his
leg
length and offset guide used in hip
replacement at this year's (2010) American
Academy of Orthopedic Surgery in New Orleans.
Afterwards, a reporter for the
Ortho Supersite covering "what's new in
orthopedics" interviewed Dr. Kurtz to discuss

Dr. Kurtz presented his research on load to
failure of in-situ femoral stem preparation vs.
the traditional approach at this year's (2010)
Orthopedic research society meeting in New
Orleans.

Dr. Kurtz presented his hip replacement leg
length research and his hip replacement bony
impingement paper at the
2009 Mid-America Orthopedic Association
meeting. He also presented a poster on his
Factors affecting Bony impingement in hip
replacements.
Dr. Kurtz's paper on
bony impingement in hip arthroplasty was
accepted for publication in
Journal of Arthroplasty in June of 2009.
